Call To All Artists!

Estudio Luna is excited to extend a call to artists to submit new artwork for this year’s art auction " Acción Fandango".

We seek art work that clearly express the theme of recycling. Art work must be inspired from using recycled material.

* Please include a short artist bio with each submission. A description of the submission is optional but not required.

Artwork is due on or before Monday, May 30, 2011. Deliver to Estudio Luna 220 McDermot Avenue. Winnipeg, Manitoba

“The cliché is that “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” but the author of that phrase probably never realized how strangely true it could turn out to be in the form of artistic upcycling. In today’s world of weird and amazing art some of the most compelling and creative works have been born out of the simplest and most abundant of materials: garbage.”

1. Submission fee: None
2. All artworks must be display ready.
3. Label work with title,name and despription
4. Art will be auction at the party so please place a minimum bid on your piece
5. Estudio Luna will be paid 20% of anything auctioned
